The mission of
Cleveland Archaeological Society is to promote the understanding and appreciation of archaeology, to facilitate the expansion of community involvement in archaeology, to foster the development and education of future archaeologists, to enhance awareness and respect of the past, and to advocate protection of our archaeological heritage. Cleveland Archaeological Society (CAS) is a local chapter of the Archaeological Institute of America (AIA).
