Scarlet
Scarlet the red fox was found orphaned as a kit in spring 2012. She was brought to a wildlife rehabilitation center called Back to the Wild in Castalia, Ohio. She was too young to fend for herself in nature, so the staff at Back to the Wild raised her until she was capable. When it came time for her to be released, the staff determined she was too comfortable around people. She was deemed unreleasable and found a home in the Ralph Perkins II Wildlife Center & Woods Garden—Presented by KeyBank at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
