Two Executives Join Museum
Tim Martin named Chief Financial Officer, Meenakshi Sharma named Chief Strategy Officer
Sonia Winner, president and chief executive officer of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, and the Board of Trustees announced two important appointments to the leadership team as the Museum moves forward with plans for its Centennial Project and Campaign.
Tim Martin becomes Chief Financial Officer on November 19 and Meenakshi Sharma becomes Chief Strategy Officer on December 1.
“I am excited to strengthen our team with these outstanding leaders,” said Winner. “I am confident that they will contribute significantly toward ensuring that the Museum delivers on its promise to create a more engaging, vibrant, interactive showcase for its work at the forefront of conservation, science education and scientific discovery.”

Martin joins the Museum from Cleveland State University, where he served as Director of Fiscal Operations. He previously held executive positions at the University of New Mexico, Kent State University, Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals of Cleveland. He holds an MBA from The University of Akron and a BBA in Accounting from Kent State University.
Sharma comes to the Museum from Case Western Reserve
University, Weatherhead School of Management, where she most recently served as Assistant Dean. Earlier in her career, she held positions at the University of Maryland, the American Pain Foundation and UNICEF in New Delhi, India. She holds an Executive MBA from Case Western Reserve University, Program Management and Community Organization degree from the University of Maryland and a Biology degree form the University of Delhi.
