Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s Chief Strategy Officer, Meenakshi Sharma, Named One of Cleveland Magazine’s “Cleveland 500”

Meenakshi Sharma, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s Chief Strategy Officer, has been selected as one of
Cleveland Magazine’s “Cleveland 500” for 2021—earning a spot on its list of “leaders, doers, visionaries and idea generators who help shape the city.”
At the Museum, Sharma leads the institution’s long-term strategy for visitor experience and engagement, and provides input on the Museum’s growth and development as a member of the executive leadership team. Her expertise in strategic planning is guiding the Museum as it celebrates its centennial and continues its expansion and renovation as part of the ongoing
Transformation Project.
Prior to joining the Museum, Sharma served as an Assistant Dean at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. Earlier in her career, she held positions at the University of Maryland, the American Pain Foundation, and UNICEF in New Delhi, India. Sharma received an Executive MBA from Case Western Reserve University, a Program Management and Community Organization degree from the University of Maryland, and a Biology degree from the University of Delhi.
Sharma was named to
Cleveland Magazine’s list in the Arts and Museums category.
